I think a commander should be able to think independently when presented with arbitrary and utterly meaningless decisions.
I have 50 little spheres, numbered 1 through 50. To enter, pick 5 different spheres. So, an entry should consist of 5 different integers between 1 and 50. One entry per player.
The winner shall be the player who picks the highest number of unique numbers, i.e. numbers that no one else picks. In case of a tie for first, the tie shall be broken by summing the numbers chosen by the people tied for the lead. Whomever has the lowest total wins.
PM me your entry on the boards by 5 PM PST monday. Your picks will be revealed when the winner is chosen.
Good Luck!

Nice job Neutrino! I am so happy to "win" this challenge and make some endearing enemies. Everyone that voted is safe. I nominate "Son" and "Chris McDougall".

Once again, Son comes out of the woodwork once his name is invoked. I do like how you nominated non-submitters, mike!

Oh you have made some VERY endearing enemies indeed. Watch your back Mike, around every corner my dastardly devices are waiting to be your undoing. Want to get a snack? I replaced your oreo filling with toothpaste. Need to use the bathroom? Saran wrap over the toilet. Nap time? I have warm bowls of water ready at a moments notice. You will regret this until you meet your somewhat-timely demise.

wait what happened how did I miss the first week? What do you mean you missed the first week? I was watching security camera footage and saw you on B deck, C deck, and D deck pretty much around the same time. How do you get around so quickly?

@zac, Neutrino. Did you guys pick 42 because of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy?

Nope, I picked the range of numbers between 41-45. Had I recalled the Hitchhiker's Guide, I would've chose another number.

It's probably on a subconscious level, because I didn't even notice. However, I tend to always include the number 42 in almost any number choice. In fact, 42% of my passwords are just 42424242 or sometimes just 420.
