I just wanted to say, damn, if you've been turned off seeing this, maybe because "it's just a scary movie about a cabin in the woods", ditch your inhibitions. This movie jumps genres and is prob one of my favorite films ever. Seriously, whatever hangups you've had, ditch them: It's satire so pure you'll forget it's satire.
Anyone else have such a transcendental experience with this film as my wife and I?

Good flick, not much room for a sequel.

Oh how I do enjoy the woods and I have many friends in the forest! It is such a friendly place. Is this movie about the little forest creatures?

Elena & I loved it. Joss Whedon knows how to write a movie. I was hoping Tucker & Dale vs Evil was going to be as good but I was kinda disappointed by that one.

The way they frame it is what really makes the film.
Looks like it's back on Netflix streaming, so watch it today. I have it on in the background while I research

I saw it on redbox a while back and enjoyed the film, but didn't like it as much as my brother. I'm not a fan of gory films so much.

I don't remember it being that gory, I don't like gory horror either. I'm watching it again, though, so I'll watch for it.

Oh yah, I forgot about the system purge: That's super gory, like they just dump tanks of blood everywhere for comedic effect.

Good flick, not much room for a sequel. Ha, with Evan's genius, I can see a similar style scenario in Mildville.

Anyone else have such a transcendental experience with this film as my wife and I? Yes. I have no interest in scary movies but Eric made me watch it. It was awesome. They had me at the scene where everyone in the control room is watching the couple in the woods, and she refuses to take her shirt off, and everyone goes, "AWWW!" There's also like 50 allusions. The whole concept is pretty genius. Running mildville totally makes me feel like those two guys in ties Those two guys, Hadley and Sitterson, were based on Goddard and Whedon.
