Seriously, if you are going to conspire to make a dip win, make the freaking KNOWN dip win!!! I don't want to answer Peppperettte's question, as I have already given her my reasons, so if someone wants to give her another point of view I'd appreciate it. I want to answer Tulley though. We've had Stinky pete, then we've had Neutrino.. Have you reached out to either of them? My guess is no.. despite you being rather active. They can correct me if I'm wrong. On that note, it would be nice if more diplomats started to reach out to the known diplomats but they haven't been so what's the point? Also, sorry Paula, you haven't been trying to make any moves in the game, trying to help the dips get to the bottom of any of this, that is why I was okay with not attempting to protect you. I rather protect someone more active.

You guys, Paula didn't even enter... so even if you had a plan to protect her with immunity it wouldn't have worked because she would have had to enter. [I'm basing this on her previous comment asking when the deadline was btw]

Since Amer is on the other team, I have to fill in for him here. This may be 130% more assholeish than necessary but here goes: Why? I just don't see any logic in that, please explain why you think it's better to give a known dip immunity at this point in the game? If you have been paying any attention to the game (or general common sense), you might have noticed that the spies kill any polyed proven diplomat. Call me crazy, but it seems to me that if the diplomats want to win, we should do our best to, i dunno, keep the known diplomats alive. You guys, Paula didn't even enter... so even if you had a plan to protect her with immunity it wouldn't have worked because she would have had to enter. [I'm basing this on her previous comment asking when the deadline was btw] The fact that you are actively defending this inane strategy is the most spyey thing you have done so far, futher cementing you on my list of suspects.

fine vote for me Tulley, but you're going to waste a week. I was just making a point. This is super disappointing considering I frickin defended you earlier in the game, linking to the fact that you volunteered yourself rather aggressively for the poly in the first couple weeks. Maybe it's time we take you up on your offer....

gah. sarah n tull confuse me. How about one of you volunteer this week?
If Sarah is a spy, then lame, I'm helping her.. but
I was gonna literally say the same thing that sarah said about Paula being inactive, because it's true. We would have needed her in on deciding our challenge answers so we could protect her. The reason I got protected is because I was IN on the conversation with the other diplomats.
Maybe to edit peppperettte's question a bit, What is the point of protecting an alive, known, inactive, diplomat? Answer that one for me Tulley. You seem spyish to me when you don't get what's going on with diplomat's sometimes..

I don't get what's going on with diplomats because I haven't been invited to your little circle, which I guarantee has at least one spy in it. The point of protecting "an alive, known, inactive, diplomat" is because she is the only known existing diplomat to everyone and is guaranteed to die if we dont protect her. If you can't understand that logic than the diplomats deserve to lose.

No assholish comment, general common sense??? anyway, I'm well aware spies are killing off previous weeks poly'd dips. Spies know who all the dips are, so my logic an again you may not agree with it is , if we save the known, it puts a target on the rest, if they are trying to win why protect a fellow dip and put yourself in jeopardy? if they dont kill paula this week they will get her next week anyway most likely.

I don't pretend to have read everything in this thread, as it hurts my head, though I will blindly ring in one thing.
Protecting known diplomats is better than protecting an unknown. This is irrefutable.
Scenario A.
- 1 Known diplomat and 8 unknowns - We protect unknown. - Spies kill known diplomat - We now have 7 unknowns, 1 dead diplomat, and 1 known someone(poly).
Scenario B
- 1 Known diplomat and 8 unknowns - We protect known diplomat. - Spies kill another unknown diplomat - We now have 6 unknowns, 1 dead diplomat, 1 live diplomat, and 1 known someone(poly).
Scenario B equates to 1 less unknown and is MUCH better. I can buy people might not have seen this logic, but clearly the spies would prefer we blindly protect one of their ranks.

The more known people we have the better. The spies are killing off the known person because it benefits them!! If only Paula would have submitted her answers....

This thread has turned into rubbish. Forget about scenarios and who's a diplomat. We've got numbers and we'll know soon enough. We could just choose a poly target at random every week and we would most likely win.
If you're a spy your days are numbered. If you're a diplomat please vote with us, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
