There are four Gmen and two of them must be Merpeople. It might be useful to the rest of the voting citizenry of the town to hear some defenses. For my part, I think it must be Neutrino and Pep but I'd sure love to hear what you all have to say.

Although it is difficult to trust anyone in this game, I swear to you that I am 100% human! After all, how could I have become such a successful fashion model if I were dragging around a floppy old Mer-Tail? Seriously, look elsewhere....I'm always open to the logic of people who can suss out the real bad guys.

Im not about to defend myself...you want to vote me off vote me off, I have found from the past the more you try and defend yourself, the guiltier you look. There are 7 gangsters, 2 of which are Mers...are you one of them?

Huh. I gave you an argument - just say that you got hoodwinked by your daughter. That you still won't do that even after she's been outed really makes you look more guilty.
I'd really like to hear from Neutrino.

Eh, I rather not repeat myself. Here's the short version:
I thought True was a human and she was a better liar that I expected.

I'm pretty convinced that Annie is human. Her logic is sound to suss out merfolk from the remaining gmen. The nice thing we can do as non-knowing humans is pronounce a mob voting edict to steer all votes towards the G-Men based on Annie's logic.
Therefore ALL HUMANS (AKA EVERYBODY) SHOULD VOTE FOR A G-MEN BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST CHANCE TO WEASEL OUT A MERPERSON . Not voting for a G-Men or yourself will arouse suspicion on you.

Hmmmmmm, "hoodwinked" to be deceived or tricked...True being a Mer, and all Mers being aware of who is a Mer, impossible for her to "hoodwink" me, sounds to me like you know who's who in the Mer world.

If by "design" you mean "plan," and by "dresses" you mean "weddings," then yes, indeed she does.

Based on your phrasing here, you are implying that your daughter could not hoodwink you because you are both of the aquatic persuasion. I'm assuming you didn't mean to outright say that you're a mer; care to clarify your meaning?

Peppperettte gets an 'A' for hostility but I'm not following her reasoning. Is there a defense forthcoming?

As far as I can translate, it seems like Peppperettte is saying that the mermaid True was not capable of deceiving her, because she, too, is a mermaid. I don't see how else one could interpret her statement.

I don't see how else one could interpret her statement. To give her the benefit of the doubt, I think she was probably typing under duress, and probably meant that typically, True is unable to deceive her own mother because of their relationship, and because, according to a narrative established last season, True is a generally bad liar. I can't fit that in with the rest of what she said, though. Could be panic, could be sleep-deprived frustration. I leave further examination to the court.

I read it the same was that Stinky did....sounded like a neener-neener confession to me. However, maybe she was just reeling after discovering that her offspring was a MerPerson. Perhaps she was questioning True's parentage and realized she may not really be her mother after all!
