CHALLENGE COMPLETE! The answer was "kumquat" or "cumquat," explanation below. Of the living, Annie, Brad and Amer were the only ones to send me winning answers. HOWEVER Tulley and Son both sent me correct answers and since they were dead they each picked a player to potentially strip immunity from. Son picked E-rok, who didn't win immunity so nothing changes. But Tulley picked Brad, stripping him of immunity this week. Of the living, only Amer and Annie win immunity. Square Dance! .........................0729110938.........0722111802 0810111444.........................................................0812110830 0728111340.........................................................0805112013 .........................0715111818........0811111500 ANSWER: "Kumquat" or "cumquat." Each of these numbers is a timestamp referring to a mildville post made at that exact time. For instance, 0810111444 refers to August 10, 2011 at 2:44 PM (14:44). There's only one post made at that exact time, this one: mildville.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=picnic&thread=71&page=2#898Looking at the post, there is a bit of cryptic gibberish at the bottom: ZI RHZRG PIARA So, if we find all 8 posts by timestamp, we get 8 cryptic bits. If we arrange those bits starting at the top left of the square and going clockwise (as every good square dance does), we get a cryptogram. The solution to the cryptogram asked people to send me the word "kumquat" or "cumquat." Thanks for playing!

This challenge makes my head hurt. All I know is there is a 1 for the fifth and sixth numbers for all of them. Where is the music coming from? How many beats per switch?

OK I am pretty sure I got it. I don't see why I would want to win this challenge, though? Is there any advantage to a dead person winning, as opposed to my giving it to a current player?

If a dead person solves it, they get to pick any one living person. If that person wins immunity, they lose it.

Well, I can read. My confusion, without giving too much away to folks who have not endeavored to complete the challenge, is that... it appeared from the numbers that there were multiple immunity winners. There are more dead than alive so, with this new rule, every living player could be SOL...

I think there are an equal number of dead and living, but it doesn't matter. The number of non-players amongst the dead makes it a moot point. Sam, Franco, and Jonathon have not logged on in over 3 weeks.

The dead winner picks one live person and IF that person has won immunity they lose it.

Evan one day I'm going to raffle off a large sum of money and if you win the raffle I'm going to say something along the lines of, "oh wait actually I'm going to add a new rule to this raffle that says you don't win shit."
As I am the only one who got hurt in this I don't expect anyone to side with me publicly but in the future (if I have one) can we please get all the rules when the challenges start and not two days after the submission deadline?
