Of course, I'd hardly call Sarah - the cub reporter from the Friendlyville Daily Shopper - a glitzy guest. She probably had dirt on Evan too. Nope.. I've got nothing on the dead Cap'n I'm curious why Amer would want to get Chris fired from the CIA, and I think it has something to do with the whole weapons conspiracy.

I've shared more than you, Son, but since you insist, I will reveal that I had spies following you, and they tell me that your hunting accident... was no accident. I find your reluctance to share information to be somewhat incriminating as well. Is your country that lame that you are spying on actors? If you have information why not share it instead of making sly accusations? I shared two pieces of pretty vital information. Mike was in the will and reporter lady would have been out of a job with Evan shutting down the station. Uh, I did share it. There's nothing sly about it. And aren't you Canadian? Of course, I'd hardly call Sarah - the cub reporter from the Friendlyville Daily Shopper - a glitzy guest. She probably had dirt on Evan too. Nope.. I've got nothing on the dead Cap'n I'm curious why Amer would want to get Chris fired from the CIA, and I think it has something to do with the whole weapons conspiracy. Sarah, at least, is famous. She has some measure of influence with her job. The diving instructor has nothing. Other than the ability to dive. Which seems somewhat relevant... here on this lake. As for why I got Chris fired, 'twas nothing more than a trivial matter. I had merely expelled all CIA agents from Canada who could not hold their liquor (how they ever got hired, I have no idea). Chris, then director of the CIA, objected vehemently to this. Obviously, I felt it in the best interest of both nations that Chris be replaced with someone more competent. This all happened several years ago, however, and Chris has been notably absent from the world of political espionage since then. One must wonder what he has been up to. And what exactly it is that he is doing here in Mildville now. And why he has such an interest in our fish-out-of-water dive instructor. I must admit, I was a bit surprised to come to Mildville and find two of my American adversaries here. Neither Chris nor Kyle has any business attending this high-priced event. Whatever is at the bottom of this lake must be quite interesting to attract so much attention. Perhaps it's tied to why Evan wanted us all dead.

All this is truly interesting but still doesn't present any real motives for Evan's death. So far Mike has the most motive but hasn't really given us any other suspects or even reasons why he did not do it.

I'll suggest it again: lay all cards on the table so that all available clues are public.

I'll go last, if it's all the same to you. All this is truly interesting but still doesn't present any real motives for Evan's death. So far Mike has the most motive but hasn't really given us any other suspects or even reasons why he did not do it. Mike does have the best motive, but seems to be too easy of a choice. We have very little information right now and the story is still unfolding. I think the best move will be to oust the people who contribute the least, because... fuck them.

Well, it seems kinda scary if no one else discloses. If a non-murderer is voted out, he/she should disclose their bio by PM'ing it to everyone or quoting it in the boards. If you're dead, you have nothing to lose by sharing your intel.
I'm not keen on voting out a non-contributor... I'd rather get them to contribute! Besides, I think that there are three players tied for least contribution - Erik, Kyle and Andy (who have each posted once). Not sure if that's accurate but I'm sure someone (Amer) can check. How do we decide?
While my presence seems odd given that I'm a nobody from Pensacola, I think I'm here for the same reason everyone else is: Evan wanted to murder me. That's why we were all invited.

When I met Erik on board I went to shake his hand and he was barely able to grip my hand. I'm assuming that the years of boxing have messed his hands up. Not sure if its permanent condition or if he recovering from his last fight, but that may rule him out as he might have had difficulty wielding any kind of fine instrument like a scalpel.

That sounds like a pretty good indication (for now) that Erik shouldn't be a target.

wow...miss a day and you miss a lot on this cruise!
Like some of the others, I don't recall an event at the Pollyanna Casino....but then again I think the alcohol was flowing freely. I'm sure I must have picked up the bar tab because I am enjoying sharing my wealth!
In a former life, I would have just taken my gambling profits to the mall, but after an "aha" moment last year, I am learning to find joy in sharing the wealth! I was hoping that the personal connections I make on this cruise would help fuel my quest to become the White Oprah of the next century!
At this point it is hard to determine a clear motive for the Captain's murder...perhaps if we can learn what is at the bottom of the lake (besides The Captain), it will shed some light for us.

I don't see how we can vote for anyone with any reasonable degree of accuracy at this point, so voting out those who contribute the least seems like the best plan. If they're not contributing, they're worthless to our cause. You're worried about losing their clues, but they're not sharing anyway. Besides, Evan will be handing out new clues every week. By my tally, the contributors have been: Me, Sarah, Son, Paula, Judy, and Annie. Minimal contributions have come from: Farrell and Mike. The non-contributors have been: Andy, Chris, Kyle, Dan, and Erik. Although it should be noted that Erik, Andy, and Chris participated in the immunity challenge. Andy, Chris, Kyle, and Erik have barely spoken and haven't logged on in days. I think one of these four has to go. Since Kyle is the only one of the four to not participate in the challenge, I think it makes sense to vote for him. Don't forget, today is voting day.

I knew Amer would help out with sussing out who's done what and how often.
I was thinking Andy because, honestly, I doubt the good colonel is the killer. Kyle has been a pretty steady player since season 1 and I think if he was the murderer, he'd make sure to be causing trouble. Andy, on the other hand, is a new player and therefore a bit of a wild card. I have no idea why she's (or she/he's) being so quiet.
Also, I'm pretty sure that some people (myself included) gave up on the immunity challenge after Amer said he created some sort of algorithm for coming up with his answer. So not really the best reason to hate on folks.
Anyways, I'm a huge fan of going with the mob and will defer to the majority vote.

I'll vote with the herd, my preference would be to vote to some of the non-contributors. I'll try to contribute more but still getting a feel for the game as its my first go around.

I think double non-participation deserves a vote. in show business we have a term for someone like that "Not fucking useful!"
Anyway, I am down with Kyle or Mike because despite being a target he hasn't really done much to deny it or help us find someone.

It bears repeating that earlyish in the immunity challenge, Amer indicated that he made a computer program to help come up with the best answer. I think that may have induced a player or two to just give up.
It made me stop trying (and believe you me, I had pages of color coded charts).
As for Mike - his primary goal always seems to be to cause as much mischief and havoc as possible while simultaneously not helping at all. However, he's been reasonably active... and who else is trained to row this boat?

You can give up but still participate like I did, or at least offer more on the other threads. At the end of the day if people don't get involved there is no game. without much more I'm going with kyle because Mike may be too obvious a suspect at this point.

Mike told us that Farrell was getting a horrible deal from Evan. An important clue, I think. You should also note that both Chris and Andy submitted their immunity challenge entries after mine. They participated despite the futility. And Erik was the first to submit. Several other people spoke in the thread, despite not submitting an entry. Not sharing, not discussing, not participating in the challenge, and infrequent logons. Kyle meets all of those. Also, doesn't he live in North Dakota now? How does he not have time to kill? Speaking of North Dakota, this review of a long-awaited Olive Garden is currently going viral: www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/231419/group/homepage/

I am no killer...and I have participated and I have a booming deep fryer biz.
Once again Amer starts by stirring the pot. He always makes me nervous.

I'm down to vote for Kyle as a minimal/non player but I don't think it's him. I have a strong hunch that it may be Mike, because
1. He got really defensive and said not to pick on him because he wants to actually play this round.
2. Sticking with the theme of the one who is the least guilty being the murderer, he fits the profile. He is only guilty of being the benefactor of Evan's will but no information has surfaced that incriminates him for some other crime.
3. He was included in my alibi, and when I asked him about it he knew nothing. He could have used the "rapids" as a diversion.
4. As the skipper he would have access to all of the rooms.
Arguments for Kyle:
1. Also no specific incriminating evidence of guilt.
2. Hasn't shared anything helpful and others seem to have little information about him.
3. As a military colonel, his character is no stranger to killing for the sake of protecting the larger group.
