REVOTE IS ON! CHOOSE ONE OF THESE FOUR BY 9 AM PST WEDNESDAY. If you are still in the competition, the usual rules apply: If you vote for your own or don't vote you lose 2 points.
A. Black slate tar dark as
white winter marshmallow bright
as gray ash cloud sock
B. Mildsphere, ship of doom
Summer of hope, tragic fall
course set: destruction
C. No Seasons in Space
Nor Days, but Infinite Night.
Time is Relative.
D. Walking shadows, clones
Humans, stalked like winter prey
Confusion, chance, dance
I think that probably clones can't appreciate poetry. Maybe.
So, write your finest poetry about the Mildsphere 2 in Haiku form. Haiku form is simple: The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7, the third has 5 and that's the end of the poem. Also, for bonus points, have a seasonal reference and a stark contrast somewhere in there. You know, Haiku.
You may enter up to 3 different Haiku. I will scramble the entries then post them without names. You will all then vote. You can't vote for yourself, and if you don't vote you automatically lose 2 votes.
The winner will be the person who has the entry which gets the most votes. Note that, unlike last year's similar comp, the winner is not necessarily the person who gets the most total votes.
Get these in by monday at 5 pm pst, I'll put them up and we'll vote for a day.
