We need a mascot to provide us with steadfast inspiration and, eventually, meat.
So, this week, in this thread, post what you think our mascot should be, and an explanation of why. The mascot MUST be a real creature, but it can be extinct.
Judging: I will bring back the popular method of having my cats judge. HOWEVER, I will put them in different room to judge, so that their opinions cannot influence each other.

I think our mascot should be Evan's cats, because I think that gives me the best chance of winning this challenge.

Dead people can enter! If a dead person wins, no one is immune and that dead person gets 1 vote on Thursday.

Multiple entries...you say? Then I choose: lizards, snakes and gorillas.
Why? Because of this scene from the Simpsons:
The town gets overrun with Bolivian tree lizards:
Skinner: Well, I was wrong; the lizards are a godsend.
Lisa: But isn't that a bit short-sighted? What happens when we're overrun by lizards?
Skinner: No problem. We simply release wave after wave of Chinese needle snakes. They'll wipe out the lizards.
Lisa: But aren't the snakes even worse?
Skinner: Yes, but we're prepared for that. We've lined up a fabulous type of gorilla that thrives on snake meat.
Lisa: But then we're stuck with gorillas!
Skinner: No, that's the beautiful part. When wintertime rolls around, the gorillas simply freeze to death.

Knowing these judges, I think they would love it if ou mascot was a can of Friskies Supreme Supper. It makes them go meow, meow, meow.

More entries: Maybe the kitties will like this awfully surprised monkey, who just found out who the last 2 clones are:  Or maybe they just like other, cuter versions of themselves:  Who wouldn't want Mandy, the sliding Panda as our mascot?  I think the fox in this one would make a great mascot as it is pretty much exactly how the alien functions in this game:  |
