Sorry. Brother-in-law passed away early Thursday and I've been trying to console my seemingly inconsolable sister. Didn't want to get on the boards until I could talk with Evan. Will get up to speed tomorrow, so beware. Very sorry to hear Judy.

Talking wasn't all she did to the trees I'm still trying to figure this out. Wasnt grandmother willow her grandmother figure? she did get life coaching from the tree.

Yes, I have been quiet. “Suspiciously,” however, is in the mind of the beholder. As I was not able to get on the boards close to voting time, I went with the inactive player, as originally suggested by Amer, and I quote: “I don't see any way to pick someone other than the standard: he who appears to be playing the least.” Kudos to Amer for ferreting out Mike as a witch. Is Amer a witch using Mike as a sacrificial lamb, is he adept at Boolean logic (and multi-colored charts), or did he make a lucky guess. (In throwing out 6 or 7 names, you’re bound to hit one witch.)
So, I did not vote for Witch Mike (not to be confused with Which Alex). Does this mean I’m a witch defending Mike or am I merely a clueless player? You make the call. Time is better spent determining who it was that Son hit too close to.

Son's death was likely completely random or a manipulative move to cast suspicion on someone. That's my guess. I believe we have far more info to rely on re the witches than we do on the vamp and we should, therefore, focus on getting out the witches.

Thank you, Judy and Pete, for clearing things up. When Kyle told us that Mike sent a message to all the Pilgrims claiming that the witches had colluded to eliminate him this week, I was a little confused as to how you would use that. FYI Natives, I (and presumably the other Pilgrims, though I'm not sure about that) received this PM from Mike. Not sure if there's any truth to what he says, but it gives the impression that other witches voted for him this week. Now we can see what you were up to. First, Pete attempts to discredit me. He then defends the witches. Finally, he places the label of witch on Jonathan, who hasn't logged on in 5 days, and is unlikely to defend himself. Okay so I think that you guys are right about Amer being the most likely vampire candidate, and also that whoever voted for mike is basically in the clear as a witch (for now) because it would be disadvantageous for witches to kill of their own this early in the game (I think). I also do not expect that the witches would be likely to vote together in the first round, at least not without a good alibi. Jonathon is my guess for witch, but we're probably safest going after Amer next. Then Judy comes in 40 minutes later. She also attempts to discredit me. Following Mike's "leaked" story that the witches deliberately voted out Mike, Judy claims that I must be a witch because I voted Mike out. Time is better spent determining who it was that Son hit too close to. This all serves to reinforce what I said in the beginning of this thread: Judy and Stinky Pete are most likely witches. I think Judy has more evidence against her than Pete, so I believe Judy is the best candidate for witch-burning this week. I don't think she'll win immunity, since Mike appears to be the only one helping her out, which of course, is yet another indicator that they are in cahoots. I give Judy a basket with buffalo chips, enjoy their scrumptiousness!

I give Judy a basket with buffalo chips, enjoy their scrumptiousness! Mike, the witch, gave me, a witch, a basket hoping that no one would notice and think me a witch. Amer is just too clever for us. Notice that no one else has bothered to bestow baskets upon me. Mike is being ever so clever. Wait! But, not clever enough to avoid elimination. Hmmm.

So... who are the contenders? Judy seems to be a candidate. Stinky Pete and Amer have had some suspicion cast upon them. Anyone else?

If i were still alive my vote would be for Judy. She was one of the ones who did not vote for Mike and suggested the voting plan that would only benefit the witches.

With not a lot of info to rely upon, it does seem that what evidence is available points most strongly to Judy.

So... who are the contenders? Judy seems to be a candidate. Stinky Pete and Amer have had some suspicion cast upon them. Anyone else? I would say Jonathan but I've decided now that he's less likely because a witch would probably maintain a safer level of activity. Amer's behavior seems indistinguishable with that of last year when he was a Townie, so I'll let him off my suspicion for now. I think Judy makes a cracker jack defense, so now I'm diverting my attention to some people who have suffered no accusation. DJ has been pretty quiet about all this stuff, and annie has been careful to not stake any real opinions on who is a witch, which was my strategy as a villain last year. In fact, I think at this point annie's behavior seems most similar to a reasonable witch player. Feel free to prove me wrong, I'm just following my gut here.

I thought I had staked a real opinion. Here, let me remind you... With not a lot of info to rely upon, it does seem that what evidence is available points most strongly to Judy.

"The evidence that is available points to Judy." Definition of Evidence: proof, confirmation, facts, data, substantiation, verification. In this game, we have no evidence. I provided reasonable explanation for my voting record last week. Vote me off, if you like. You'll find that I'm human and Amer merely made a lucky guess with Mike (after tossing out four other names, no doubt to steer us away from himself.) Thanks Stinky Pete, but back away. If I'm voted off, you'll see that I'm human and then everyone will think that you're a witch. Frankly, I'm torn between Amer and Jonathan for my vote this week.

The available body of facts are that Judy defended Mike when Mike's identity was brought in to question. Judy also refused to vote for Mike. Stinky Pete also defended Mike, although not as vehemently as Judy. He, too, refused to vote for Mike. The bulk of the evidence against these two was laid out in this post: Well, well, well...The case against Stinky Pete is rather weak, but better than nothing. The case against Judy seems quite good, I believe. I don't see any other viable option than to vote for Judy.

Okay, now I'm torn between Judy and Amer. If we vote off either of them, we'll have a pretty strong case for the identity of the other.

from Amer Judy also refused to vote for Mike. Apparently you suffer short term memory loss or are illiterate. I did not "refuse" to vote for Mike. After 6 or 8 stabs, you finally choose to put his name out there--long after I was able to get back to the boards. I voted for the candidate you proposed the last time I was able to get to on boards. I explained myself and my actions quite well, to anyone who bothered to read all of the words. Vote for Amer!
