Also: here's a list of all the people who submitted a mascot, in order. I'm trying to show who Amer had to work with. He picked a dead, a known dip, an unknown.. that's interesting to me.
dip-Farrell.-how did he know dead can submit? Mike-I'm assuming his didn't count as a submission, but who knows. dip?-Peppperette dip-stinky neutrino annie Sarah Tulley dip?-True
*? questionmark denotes what I think Amer thinks. if there isn't a ? I have no idea what amer thinks about those peeps.
I feel like this challenge was rigged as in.. who won was based on changing the game vs who's mascot was actually bomb. Who's mascot we could actually use for the face of mildville didn't seem like the actual goal here. If so, I think ONE would have eventually been chosen by now.
Why did amer pick pete? Not sure the dips really need to keep him safe any longer? If we did, why would Amer care? He didn't need to pick 3 people to win..
What if all the spies are inactive and that's why Amer feels he needs to be involved?
We still have a solid chunk of peeps who are essentially silent..

I don't think Amer would have chosen a Spy. Too risky. Better to let them hide. I'm also thinking more of the spies are somewhat inactive then active. Let's look for people like DJ. Minimal posting, but still obviously voting at times or logged in.

Amer knows we aren't organized to do anything. He can safely pick spies for immunity. We had doubters on the mike vote, which was the most obvious vote in mildville history (actually second most, zac as the clone was #1 and you saw how that went). I still say sarah is #1 suspect. But that doesn't do us any good here. I am fine with DJ as a candidate this week

INT. GREAT HALL - NIGHT
A large spacious hall is decorated with balloons and a banner that reads "Mildville Mascot Ceremony" hangs above a stage at the front of the room. There is a crowd of about 20 people mingling at tall tables set up in the room. Some of them covering their mouths and speaking softly as if telling a secret. SARAH, a well dressed diplomat, enters the room. Her high heels echo against the marble floors and a hush falls over the crowd. AMER, a well known international spy, is ushered to the mic on stage by two armed guards.
Welcome everyone! As a patron of the arts, I would like to announce the winner of the Mildville Mascot competition. There were many exceptional entries, and the decision was hard. Your effort is greatly appreciated.
AMER removes a sheet covering a painting on a stand next to him on stage. The painting belongs to SARAH.
Sarah, come on up! Your work is truly exceptional!
As SARAH walks up to the stage, some commotion starts in the back of the room. PEPPERETTE is shouting and starts running toward the stage.
No! No you can't do this! This whole thing is rigged.. she's a spy!!
Before anyone can stop her, PEPPERETTE lunges onto the stage and destroys the painting. She is promptly removed by security guards and dragged from the room kicking and screaming. SARAH takes the mic, despite the drama.
Hello Everyone, this is certainly awkward. [beat] I appreciate the honor of being chosen, and quite frankly I'm flattered that my work has caused such an intense reaction.
Several hecklers from the audience start shouting "Spy", but she continues.
I'm not a spy, and to prove it I will gladly submit to a polygraph test next week when my diplomatic immunity expires. My credibility may have been compromised by an elaborate spy hoax. This isn't over yet.
I am disappointed with all of the negativity following this week's immunity challenge. It was quite uncivilized. I won't stand for that kind of behavior on The People's Train. I have asked the conductor to let Peppperettte off at the next stop. Unfortunately, this is a non-stop train, so we'll just be throwing her out.
But let no one say we are without mercy! I am willing to spare Peppperettte this untimely end … if True agrees to take her place.
I think Amer is telling us that Pep and True are both diplomats... I think we can move them over to the known good guys column.
I like how Sarah made a story for us to read. I know my mom got arrested during it.. but it was still entertaining. (I'll get you out of there mom! Sit tight. You have your flask right?)
Wait is that your actual mom playing?
And yeah I didn't know what to say when I came back after a day and some people were being kinda mean about my skills.. I didn't even sketch with pencil first, that was all pen and marker done at the last minute at work and I kept having to hide everything under my desk when people walked by. I couldn't exactly be seen drawing "murderbunny".
Part of me wanted to go on a long fuck you rant like last season, but mostly I was like damn, this sucks. So hopefully my short conveyed the feeling well. I was the first one to think it was weird that Amer picked me, because historically we usually argue to the death. Obviously he's stirring the pot from the grave and playing everyone, not much we can do about it other than try to find the real spies.
Buzzfly: I dont even know what you are talking about.

Mike Lenin: It comes across as contrived that you don't know the plight of Annie. You're playing coy
May 11, 2020 20:18:08 GMT -8
Mike Lenin: you posted in the mildville gazette forum right before posting this shoutbox. I can't believe that you would make this comment AFTER reading the Gazette. Please. It's normal behavior economics to read the Gazette then post. This makes you suspect.
May 11, 2020 20:20:24 GMT -8
Buzzfly: Ya whatever. As I said vote how you want, nothing is going to change how you think. Frankly, its getting to be a waste of time.
May 11, 2020 20:21:38 GMT -8
Mike Lenin: OMG, dude, you are totally a villain and are caught!
May 11, 2020 20:23:27 GMT -8
Buzzfly: You must be really bored
May 11, 2020 20:23:50 GMT -8
Mike Lenin: And yeah, I'm open minded to new ideas when they fit. Earlier I had shouted at you that I'm willing to accept that you could be a hero
May 11, 2020 20:23:58 GMT -8
Mike Lenin: boring people get bored
May 11, 2020 20:24:02 GMT -8
Mike Lenin: and definitely not sober
May 11, 2020 20:24:10 GMT -8
Buzzfly: Well that I can drink too
May 11, 2020 20:24:41 GMT -8
Mike Lenin: And yeah, for the record, tl;dr you accused me of playing the game, and to boot, to that, correctly, in identifying you as a villain. So despite it being clear that we are playing for different teams, I'm still down to share a drink with you
May 11, 2020 20:28:03 GMT -8
Buzzfly: Take another drink, you will need it when you find out youre wrong
