New York Times Article Check it out.. still in the news, for the same things. Not sure if they interviewed George recently or just researched him but they throw his name around a lot.

Dang, that link isn't working for me. For those not familiar with the Koala, it's the comedy newspaper at UCSD where about half of us here earned our chops. It's ability to drop cutting-edge humor and creative writing is rivaled only by its ability to garner nationwide controversy.

Ahhhh....brings back the memories of countless controversies! Could an article on The Koala even exist without input and quotes from GLL3rd??? I think not! I love the current editor's remark toward the end of the piece that..."we are basically a group of misfits who are awkward and weird"....sounds like "GLEE" at UCSD!

Yeah, SDSU Koala gave an interview. George is still involved with the UCSD Koala, but not as much as he is with the SDSU one. I just got back from our meeting and it's still really difficult to type coherently.

I saw George's mom the day this article came out and she told me he was living in San Diego doing lots of "volunteering".
