So who is watching what? Any recommendations? I'm into Orphan Black and we've just started Black Mirror.

Been trying Bojack Horseman for the first 1.5 seasons. The storytelling and characters are great, but the jokes per minute rate is abysmal.

Netflix: Daredevil was great. Sense8 was good. HBO - True Detective, not as good as last year. Showtime - Penny Dreadful - good and very victorian Syfy - Defiance, Dominion, Dark Matter, I want to try Killjoys Fx - The Strain

A group of sister-clones get sent to a dystopian prison together and learn some valuable life lessons in addition to the importance of sober societal approaches to technology.
Orange is the New Orphan Black Mirror
Anyway, if for some reason any of you have not watched The League, please do

Just recently finished OITNB #3.
It was a little slower this season (lines up with what I've been hearing..) but I think it was kind of a transitional season possibly? I enjoyed it overall. I mean, it's still addicting as heck.

Who you guys rooting for on Big Brother? I finally caught up today This season is so hard. It started out so good and I was really rooting for Vanessa, but she really has been using the emotional card too much so I've liked her less and less. I don't like Austwins. I like Johnny Mac but his gameplay sucks, he never wins an HOH. I like James, he wins comps but his social game is sorta week. Meg who. Steve's okay. I'm kind of hoping steve gets evicted, becky comes back in and forms a foursome with Johnny, James, and Meg to target the austwins. I guess i'd be happy if Vanessa wins. She has worked the hardest to get there but it seems unlikely anyone will want to take her to the end.

She has worked the hardest to get there but it seems unlikely anyone will want to take her to the end. For the most part I am with you… here’s my description of what you basically just said: I’ve liked Vanessa from the beginning and have been rooting for her as well. Is she the most likable? Nah. I’m sure playing with her is annoying as hell though. Watching her kind of bully Steve just now was hard for me, he’s already going home.. For coming back to the game, I think I’d like to see the person who gets kicked off tomorrow (steve or John) or shelly. Definitely not Jackie please. I didn’t like Johnny Mack really because of Eppy 1. I thought he was pretty clueless. He isn’t as clueless as I thought.. maybe? Obviously he has his own version of charm and I really liked what “his people back home” had to say about him. It intrigued me, ha. If not Vanessa winning, I’d like to see James win. Austwins.. I didn’t know he had a girlfriend back home! He crushes easily and she does thing where she starts to like the guy.. The twins need to dump him and do their own thing! I like Julia when she has those ideas.. They don’t like Vanessa because she’s a threat but they keep her because they need a brain.

Wait what? I thought they had only made 6'episodes of Black Mirror? How do you guys have like 3-4 favorite eppys?
That black actor in the futuristic eppy(15 million merits?) was insanely good. Everyone lves that episode where people play back their memories, and it was tight. I was most moved by the fake husband episode, that is probAbly my favorite.'we've only seen the first four episodes, though.

It's one of my favorite shows so
I hated the main character in the replacement boyfriend episode because she refused to articulate her feelings in a way that made sense, nor to adapt to the situation, but maybe I'm just being a heartless lonely bastard. Really though, if the company's product is that far down the uncanny valley, they just shouldn't be selling it at all knowing the clear problems it will inevitably cause. It's either a philosophically complete resurrection, hardly different from being beamed up in Star Trek, or it's untenable. I forgive the writers for those little mishaps, though, because Charlie Brooker describes it as simply a "worried" show, so the more feverish of its futuristic nightmares are understandable. White Bear especially, like, way to completely replace A Clockwork Orange.
15 Million Merits and White Christmas are my favorites if I have to narrow it down. But damn, if I woke up one morning to discover I'm a brain clone meant to control my real me's Internet of House, I'd just be stoked, seems like an easy job where I know all the answers to make giant me happy and we could have a symbiotic relationship, plus I could just go on the Internet and watch TV or play video games while he's gone. I'd be able to automate most of my tasks, too, and be more efficient and maybe have time to be my accountant. Just saying John Hamm coulda tried the carrot first.

I thought the episode where you could record and playback what you say that day to be creepy. It didn't seem like a huge jump from current technology.
So I watched The 100 on netflix. It was actually good. They keep the teen melodrama to a minimum. I'll always have a higher tolerance for anything Sci-Fi. Which is sort of amazing because I gave up on The Dome and Falling Skies. But anyway, its got a fun concept. Sort of Lord of the Flies meets Lost. The adults also have their storyline going on which is interesting. Plus its got plenty of BSG vets in various minor roles.
