Question about the judgment and definitions: if the item in the picture is edible, even if it's gross to eat, would I still answer "this is food"? And, what if the picture is of an inedible part of something that is food?

And, what if the picture is of an inedible part of something that is food? Inedible pictures of stuff is food. Like if I show a bunch of turkey feathers that are attached to a turkey, yeah that's food. Good question. People are not food. Stuff that is edible, but not food doesn't count, it will make you sick.

If I am Asian and have a much more expansive view of what is considered food, does cultural perspective play a part in this?

Ok, so if you show a shell and I can eat the clam that is food. But what about a lizard or a cat? still edible though not traditional.

Hmmm I think I just played this game wrong. Reading instructions is not my strong suit.

Well since it's too late to submit I may as well ask if anyone got them all right? I got all excited because I thought the winner would be announced today but then I re-read the rules. Hey Evan are you going to tell us what the pictures are of? I'm dying to know...

Giraffes are technically kosher! www.kashrut.com/articles/giraffe/Yes, that's exactly it. Also I think it would be dumb of me to show an animal like a giraffe and then debate whether or not it is edible.
