Posting this on my alt felt like it would narrow down my identity, so I am issuing a good luck thank-you to Mr. Skeltal here

This seems quite relevant.

You can feel the contempt in the narrator's voice in those ads for reading such godawful obnoxious ad writing aloud. Geico has the most asinine marketing department in the world and I take every opportunity to say so.
Even if Geico were the cheapest option for my insurance, I would still go with any other insurance company out of spite for their "lol we're so zany!" ads. Their mascot is a Kermit-wannabe asshole, and their "Hump Day" commercial threw me into an existential rage.

Geico is one of my firm's big clients. They fight hard for their insureds.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again. I choose my most serious financial products, the ones like auto and home insurance where I'm unlikely to use and spend good money doing so strictly on how zany the commercials are. Nothing like Sunday morning football to help me choose financial products.
