If Son is Mike's brother...then wouldn't he get everything from Evan's will when Mike dies? Sounds like motive for Son to encourage folks to vote for Mike...and he did "go after" him.

What are the mysteries on board (besides who murdered Evan)? Strange virus, the thing at the bottom of the lake, possible non-humans, black market arms trade... Here is what I had posted before feel free to add to it Other plots: 1. We got a fight that was apparently fixed, 2. a fundraiser, 3. a secret wedding, 4.something in the lake, 5. a virus 6. aliens? 7. A nuke deal 8. Hotel robbery |

Good job Annie! Now I can toss away all the papers with scribbles/clues on them that are cluttering my desk and causing people who see them to look askance at me! I did benefit financially from the fixed boxing match, if it helps to add that in...
In looking over all the mysteries, I have to believe that most are just red herrings. It's still hard to connect any dots between them. Are we certain that the murder weapon was a lock pick or was Sarah speculating about that? Can't the same passengers, who were so good at naming all the faces that were submitted in the challenge two weeks ago, toss the clue into their magic image identifier???
Maybe Evan will bring in a guest detective to help us out....you know, like on The Bachelor when they bring back some loser girl from the previous season so she can be rejected again!

Farrell and I both did google image searches for lock picks. He found one that was kind of similar looking but the ones I found weren't that close. And I'm pretty sure that lock picks aren't all that sharp. The thing Sarah found had a "razor sharp edge."
Lock pick is a good idea and should probably be considered as one possibility.

The hotel break in was me. I revealed this when i posted my backstory here mildville.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=below&action=display&thread=116I still think the virus is the key to the murder and the rest is red herrings. I posted a theory that evan knew about the virus and that either all of us or potentially all of us were carriers and thats why he wanted to kill us all. |

That's great Annie, I was working on something similar but also adding the players names and their connections. One correction is I do not have the virus, I'm only being treated for the arthritis. I had a "mystery malady" which I thought was the virus but it turned out to only be the arthritis. This was clarified apart from my backstory. I thought I was onto something with the lock pick idea, it was just speculation. It could be hospital equipment? I also thought I was onto something with the cake, because Amer was thought to be a fan of Andy Chambers. Then he pointed out that the cake was a trap [which I forgot]... Paula is quoted as being "disgusted" that Amer liked Andy. |

I don't think I've seen any clue that Dr. Judy is treating Sarah FOR arthritis. I've just seen clues that Dr. Judy is treating Sarah and Sarah also happens to have arthritis. Here is where it first came to light: My clue is that Dr Judy has been treating Sarah for a mystery malady. As the Dr is a virologist, and assuming virology is the study of viruses and not virility then it appears Sarah is not only out of a job but is also sick with something pretty bad. Maybe it was something she didn't want anyone to know about and Evan threatened to tell people? Is it the herp? Who knows? |

If amer already has the virus, and you gave the clue to amer, and the clue refers to patient zero, then could Amer be patient zero? That could explain why you gave the clue to him because it was something he already knew. I sort of assumed Dan was patient zero.
Would either you or amer please post your clue.
