BTW, I still kind of like Farrell's theory about Even wanting to rid the world of all the passengers because we are somehow all infected. It's simple and makes sense, if we then want to believe that everything else is just to confuse us....it's certainly working for me!

It seems pretty obvious that neither Chris nor Skipper Magoo is the groom. Evan has not revealed to me the groom's name. And, although Sarah is a patient, I made the connection with the next sentence in assuming that what I was treating her for was arthritis.

The mysteries need to be examined for a need to bump off the Captain, and, if no connection, discarded. Farrell seems to be attempting this.

I need to find a bunch of quotes and stuff and cite my reasoning in a long Amer-style post but here is the short version:

1. Erik is married to Judy and is Mike's brother
2. Paula was "disgusted" by Amer's admiration of Andy
3. A gun shaped cake with a gun inside was found in Andy's room
4. Instead of focusing on who would get the money... focus on who wouldn't get the money. Whoever killed Evan did not want the hospital to get the money.
5. two women have a secret connection
6. Andy and Mike wanted Evan to fund their casino/restaurant
7. Judy would inherit Evan's fortune via her marriage to Mike's brother Erik [eventually] and she works at the hospital
8. Someone paid Evan a lot of money NOT to go in on the rotating restaurant casino [maybe someone who hates Andy?]
9. Instead of investing in the casino, Evan loaned Erik $25 mil to start the fryer business.

So... Andy, Mike, Judy, Paula and Amer were at the "Save Lake Mildville" fundraiser. Amer knows for certain he has the virus.

However, all is not lost: Wealthy venture capitalist Dan Poulier will be on board. You are blackmailing him into keeping silent about a nuke trade he is about to broker with Evan in a few weeks. In exchange for your silence, Poulier is giving you more than enough money that, combined with the pump-and-dump profits, will give you enough to disappear for good. Also, Sarah Scoopenheimer is a hot item after her recent robbery article, you are planning to recommend her as an anchor after selling the station to Evan.

You've seen Erik Stoneburner frequent the casino for many years, although he stopped coming around the last few months.

You're pretty interested, since it sound like a more stable gig than the network. In ordder to build her casino, though, she needs a billion dollars. She's hoping to talk Evan into funding it.

Seriously though, why don't you just copy and paste the answers you sent to Evan before typing out your dissertation. I know you're excited because this is like your moment in the sun and everything, but we really need to see your answers for comparison.

Also keep in mind that if you won the challenge through serendipity rather than deduction and you convince us to kill the wrong person this week, you're pretty much guaranteed to get killed next week.
