My mother's neighbor wrote her this email titled "A Big Thank You".
The format of the email is actually a shit sandwich.
Nice-Nice-Nice
Shit Shit Shit
Shit Shit Shit
Nice-Nice-Nice
Anyways, I was reaching my hands into the potato chip bowl:
Hi Linda - Boy you sure know how to bring a smile to someone's face. The hot pink roses and beautiful cake are so so very special. Will share both this weekend with Dave, Linda, etc.
Was good this morning to get in a little visit with you. Where does the time go that we don't get these chances so much any more.
Regarding Joel's comment to you regarding seeing Mike at our Sept. 23 pot luck serving himself with his hands. Joel told me later that day about him seeing Mike do this. Really don't think anyone else saw it. Neither Joel or I have mentioned it to you or anyone else at church. But I did tell you that I was just reading something from the Bible on just this the night before. Turns out it was Mark chapter 7 which we were asked to read before today's Bible Study. I asked Pastor where I could find references to 'washing hands' in the Old Testament. He told me Leviticus chapters 11-15 and Numbers 19.
That morning of the Pot Luck Mike had brought his dog and I'm sure had been holding it. I know Mike's hands had not been washed before dipping his hand into that big pan. It would be nice if Mike could think of others before himself. I know I don't need to tell you of his lack of respect. As we both know - he IS like HIS father. And wouldn't his biological father be proud of him. BUT his Heavenly Father is crying. Mike is proud of his Jewish roots, but HAS he read from Leviticus and Numbers in the Old Testament? We are to show respect for God and others. I really am sorry for how Mike mistreats you and others. Joel and I weren't going to mention Mike's behavior to others or you, but you can share our thoughts with him.
Just hoping perhaps Mike will study these chapters. Don't know if he will ever grow up, Won't go on any more about this. But we really appreciate You and all your goodness. Thanks again for all you do. XO Judy
