Its not so much that they are bad (the author, a longtime musician from Galaxie 500 and Damon & Naomi) even mentions that he uses them. He just points out that their business model is awfully suspect, and wonders what the future holds for it.

True, listen to Tulley, he knows a bunch about good music.
I get all my jamz from Youtube. I'm on a big Fleetwood kick (easy to learn and play and sing on keys), but I'm on an even bigger Steely Dan kick (I'm always on a Steely Dan Kick). They're pretty much smooth, but experimental jazz musicians who drop GANGSTA beats
