I think they have Dollhouse
Lie To Me Archer Portlandia I assume you've already watched The Office, but if not, do it I totally second House of Cards, that show was crazy good. The UK House of Cards is also rather good, but I haven't gotten into it yet It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia And if you want something to watch with your daughters, there's a great little show that teaches them the magic of friendship created by the same people who brought us Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack
And this isn't on Netflix but you should find Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency on YouTube. It's like Sherlock but based on Douglas Adams' novel
Oh, also, I thought of this the other day: "IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY! IN! THE BANANA STAAAAAAAND!"

This was not clear to me. I blame you. It was quite clear. The cartoon is called, avatar the last airbender. The movie is called, the last airbender. Yes but its easier for me to blame you.

Another reason to watch Parks and Recreation is that our own Assassin, Mike, is often on the show. Most notably front row center at the Lil' Sebastian memorial concert.

We watched a few episodes of Revolution, set 15 years after MYSTERIOUS EVENT shuts down all forms of power: Electricity, combustion, etc.
It seemed alright, Annie likes the setting and I like the weird mysterious event clues, so we'll probably watch some more.
I wish they'd put Children of the Stones on streaming. That was a weird series: Alternating between really scary and really hilarious with bad production.

I watched Children of the Stones as a kid along with the one with the time travelling kids in the maze and the "under the mountain" which was about two kids in new Zealand fighting an alien invasion. You can find a lot of that stuff on youtube.

I think it's just electricity. Modern cars, planes, boats require electricity for certain necessary components.
That's why I'm confused why no one is jetting around in a model t...

Thanks Farrell, I'm thrilled someone else has heard of Children of the Stones.
Pete, all power shuts down, like the physics of it itself. So no combustion: you can't burn wood or coal, no electricity, etc. Not sure if simple machines are included... probably not. Not sure how they cook meat, either. If I see someone warming themselves by a fire, the show will be ruined.

lol but that means our nervous systems would shut down. If you can't make a potato clock but you can eat a potato and then turn a hamster wheel, that that don't make a lick of sense. I'll accept it if it's just like, electricity won't go through wires no more, but I guess if you're going to play story rules with the laws of physics, you can't avoid inconsistencies
Also someone told me about Children of the Stones in high school, but I could never find it. Sounds creepy though

Then why isn't everything steam and coal powered or use internal combustion? Gah this makes no sense.

Then why isn't everything steam and coal powered or use internal combustion? Gah this makes no sense. Cuz our industry, our world has gotten so dependent on technology that industrial are machinery is not easily accessible. It's the best answer I got.

You have t reached that in the show yet but monroe does get a train running and the country to the south has all that and the explanation was that the south was richer.
