I would say vote for someone who did not participate in the Jailer's challenge, but I don't know who that is. I suppose someone could take the rooster and check off those who did participate.

What the... I just woke from a grog induced coma, looked out the porthole to see if we'd set sail and I see bars on the window. How'd I get here. I was just introducing myself around, filled out a questionaire, made dinner plans with some bloke calls hisself kraker, woke up here, and I'm starving. Doesn't look like I'll eat dinner tonight. Wonder if that kracker fella will.

What we know for sure is that merrymatey is not the Kraken, and neither is Swabbie.
I explained more in the Gazette thread, but the main thing is that we'll be able to probe for more info throughout this week.
I would say more but I don't want the mutineers to be able to react against what I have in mind.

Figured discussion was the best place for this post. I'd still like to hear why the jailer chose who he chose. No problem, My first choice, me, was a "cover my ass" vote, as I have similar trust issues. The brig was the safest spot on the ship. My second vote was a "Hail Mary", picking the one person who participated in the first challenge who believed they should have the captain job. Now, this of course could have been a ruse, where they wanted to be thought threatening, or perhaps they wanted to hide in plain sight and actually are threatening, or maybe it was a joke, OR maybe they wanted us to think it was an overt threat that may have been thought to be a joke when in reality it was to throw them off the fact that they were the Kraken... Well, it was a play that failed, since there was a definite Kraken victim. |

Probably not. The rule says "Mutineers know the identity of the other mutineers. Pirates and the Kraken only know their own identity," which implies the Kraken cannot know the identity of the mutineers.
