How could I forget clue?! In fairness, the request was for movies that take place in one DAY. Clue takes place entirely at night. 1+1+2+1....

Good stuff on the movies within a single day. Thanks.

Ahh, I see, taken at face value, like the differences in definition between jam, jelly, marmalade, and preserves.
Just kidding, I see what you're saying as filming a story consistently during the day is quite the movie making accomplishment in terms of lighting consistency and pacing.

One of my favorite hobbies is going through Amazon Prime trying to find extremely indy films. They are usually so bad they're good, and sometimes they take an issue that you'd think no one would ever make a movie about and do a good job.
I just watched Travelling Salesman. If you're a fan of applied mathematics, it's pretty great for how niche the subject is. If you aren't... this is 2 solid hours of 5 actors debating about applied mathematics.

I tend to like movies with juvenile humor and over the top narcissistic characters. Things that polite society scoffs at. Just watched Tropic Thunder, and yeah, that definitely wouldn't fly today. Major League is one of my favorites cause it's baseball and funny. Loved-"You don't mess with the Zohan" Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is also up this alley. Sadly, these movies are only available for rent... Oh hey, wouldn't it be great if there was a website where you can purchase physical copies of these great films and more for exceptionally low prices and super awesome packing jobs?! Like a one stop show that has classic movies and television that aren't available for streaming Complete with their DVD extras like director commentary. Yeah, that'd be delightful:) Seriously though, If you want to watch any of the hundreds of films and television shows that I have during this quarantine, I'd love to make a deal. The prices listed are only suggestions.

Really good, really intense 😳 It totally shook me too. I turned it on because I read it was leaving. I was hooked five minutes in. My wife came by to see what I was watching, and she stood there for about an hour and half without a chair watching.

I watched Don't Run on Amazon, about a teenage boy who must be in bed by sunset every day or a monster eats him. It was decent.

Donnie Darko is on Amazon Prime. It's my all time favorite movie.

My only criticism of Donnie Darko is Drew Barrymore's acting. It's not enough to hurt the movie, but it's not great.

My only criticism of Donnie Darko is Drew Barrymore's acting. It's not enough to hurt the movie, but it's not great. Also it was such a cliche plot that really didn't affect the movie. She gets a pass, though for co-funding and producing the whole thing.
